Tour Itinerary

Day 1: KATMANDOU / LHASA

Flight Air China from Kathmandu to Lhasa. Upon arrival, transfer to Tsedang. Overnight in Lhasa, in a 3 * hotel.

Day 2: TSEDANG / LHASA

In the morning, visit the Samya monastery of Tsedang, then departure for Lhasa. Overnight in Lhasa, in a 3 * hotel.

Day 3: LHASA

Two full days of visit including the Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor Bazaar, the Potala Palace, the Deprung and Sera Monasteries. Overnight in Lhasa, in a 3 * hotel.

Day 4: LHASA

Two full days of visit including Jokhang Monastery, Barkhor Bazaar, Potala Palace, Deprung and Sera Monasteries. Overnight in Lhasa, in a 3 * hotel.

Day 5: LHASA / GYANTSE

Day of road along the shores of Yamadrok lake, with turquoise waters, crossing Karo-la 4794m pass and Brahma Putra river (in Yarlung Tsangpo). Overnight in Gyantse in a 3 * hotel.

Day 6 Gyantse / Shegar

In the morning, visit the village of Shalu and the monastery of Tashilumpo then drive on Shegar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: View of Everest

Drive on Rongbuk passing 3 passes. From the monastery the view of the Everest is impregnable. Night in Guest House. Overnight at Monastery.

Day 8: Sakya Monastery and its library

Road to Sakya, which means the gray earth and was the seat of the Sakyapa school which ruled Tibet in the 15th century, an impressive and strange place of Mongolian style whose library is probably the most important in Tibet. Overnight at the hotel. Sakya Monastery

Day 9: Sakya / LHASA

Return from Shigatse to Lhasa along the Bramha Putra River. Overnight in Lhasa, in a 3 * hotel.

Day 10: LHASA / KATMANDOU

Morning departure to Lhasa Gongaar airport for the return flight to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Tibet travel permit and all other necessary permits to Tibet;
