Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu

Upon arrival, you'll be met by our representative for your transfer to hotel. A short briefing by our representative for your tour programs. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02: Durbar Square/Swayambhunath/Boudhanath/ Patan And Culture Show

After breakfast, we will proceed to city sightseeing of Kathmandu great historic Durbar square full of ancient palaces, temples, artistic shrines and out door deities of alla Kings. We also visit the Swayambhunath ~tupa, a 2000 years-old Buddhist Chaitya. After lunch, we will visit Patan Durbar square full of Hindu temples & Buddhist monuments with bronze gateways, also known as oldest Buddhist in the world and the City of Artists that offers many artistic handicrafts. Our next stop will be Tibetan refugee camp where one can see spinning, dyeing and weaving of the Tibetan carpets. In the evening, we will proceed to see the culture show. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Chovar/Pharping

After breakfast, we will proceed to Chovar, this place is famous for its gorge. All the waters of the valley drain through it. Legend has it that Manjushree a Chinese ddhist, cut out the gorge to drain out Kathmandu valley which was then a lake. Lunch will be served enroute to Pharping. Pharping, since ancient time, to be exact 8th or 9th centuries onwards Pharping has become the centre of Mahayana Buddhism. The great masters Padma Sambabha and Phidimpa meditated and realised the certain level of truth from that place. The famous Ashura Cave still is visited by Tibetan Buddhist. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04: Kathmandu/Lumbini (Birth Place of Lord Buddha)

After breakfast, we drive about seven hours to Lumbini, the Birth place of Lord Buddha. It is situated in Kapilvastu district of Lumbini zone, the western Terai of Nepal. It is situated at 250 kilometers southwest of Kathmandu. lunch will be served enroute. Upon arrival, you'll be transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Lumbini

After breakfast, our sightseeing in Lumbini gardens which rests on the plains of Kapilvastu, the ancient Kingdom of Sakya dynasty. There are numerous buildings of religious significance there including Maya Devi shrine denoting the exact place where Lord Buddha was born, the bath where the mother dipped herself before giving birth, and a massive stone pillar erected by the Mauryan Emperor Ashoka the Great when he visited Lumbini in 250 B.C. Lunch will be served at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06: Lumbini/Kathmandu

After breakfast, we drive towards Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Lunch at hotel and free day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel. (Optional flight from Lumbini/Kathmandu).

Day 07: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your return flight.
