Day 01: Kathmandu - Paro

Day 02: Paro

Visit of Paro, one of the 20 districts of Bhutan, starting with the visit to Drugyel Dzong monastery (dzong) where attract many visitors. Drugyel Dzong, located about 30 kms west of Thimphu, defended the Paro Valley against the invasion of Tibetans from the north to the 17th century. Day 04: Thimphou - Wangdue Phodrang

Day 05: Wangdue Phodrang - Gangtey Valley

Day 06: Punakha - Thimphou - Paro

In the morning, drive to Punakha, the capital of Bhutan till 1955, and visit the dzong, known as the Palace of the Great Blessing (Pungtang Dechen Photrang Dzong), which now houses the district administration (dzongkhag) . This remarkable monastery built between two rivers has survived multiple fires and floods.
