The trek around the Annapurnas is one of the most splendid trails through the HIMALYA. It crosses regions inhabited by a great diversity of ethnic groups. Its landscapes are striking and varied. The trek begins along the Marsyangdi River, then continues through the mysterious valley of Manang. After crossing the Thorong pass at 5416 m, you find yourself in Muktinath pilgrimage , then go down to Jomsom and then into the Kali Gandaki valley, where you can find the deepest gorges in the world. These gorges are inhabited by an ethnic group: Thakali.

Day 01: KATHMANDU

Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel

Day 02: FROM KATHMANDU TO BULBULE (840 meters) - NGATTI TREK (1150 meters)

Transfer to Bulbule by bus: KTM - Dumre - Beshi Sahar - Ngati:
Transfer: 7h / 8h
in altitude: +500 m / -800 m

Day 03: NGATTI TREK - JAGAT (1314 meters)

Climbing the terraced fields to Bahun Danda Corn fields replace the rice paddies. Descent for 30 mn, crossing a small river and continuation to Syange Bazar After 2 hours of walk, the trail crosses the "Marsyangdi" and goes up to Jagat. Camp.

Day 04: JAGAT - TAL (1707 meters)

Climb up to Tal, waterfalls, hanging bridges etc ...

Day 05: TAL - CHAME (2713 meters)

Passage to the village of Dharapini in 2000 m, village gurung and mananghi of Buddhist religion, then climb softly to Khodo, finally walk in the forest until Chame, village of Tibetan culture. Small Buddhist monastery. A source of hot water.

Day 06: CHAME - PISANG (3185 meters)

Crossing a beautiful forest and continuation on the left bank of the Marsyangdi, walls of prayers. Pisang is a Manangi village divided into two parts. The upper village is typical of the valley with its houses with terraced roofs. Very nice view on the Annapurnas, the Pisang Peak, the Chulu.

Day 07: PISANG - MANANG (3351 meters)

Climbing up to a narrow spur on the flanks of Annapurna II, marching flat to Hondge, then continuing to Manang. View of Annapurnas II, III and IV, Manaslu, Pisang Peak.

Day 08: REPOS A MANANG (3351 meters)

Rest or discovery of the monasteries of the village of Braga, also possibility to walk in the pasture of the yaks in the direction of Chulu.

Day 09: MANANG- Yak Kharka

Gradually ascent to the foot of the Thorong Pass

Day 10: Yak Kharka - THORANG PHEDI (4400 meters)

Slow ascent to the foot of the Thorong Pass.

Day 11: THORONG PHEDI - MUKTINAH (3802 meters)

Depart early in the morning to cross the Thorong Pass at 5416 meters above sea level. View of the peaks of Thorong, Pisang, Manang and the Nilgiri. Long and difficult descent to Muktinath. Muktinath is for the Hindus the most sacred site of Nepal. Set of Hindu and Buddhist temples and shrine.

Day 12: MUKTINAH - JOMOSON (800 meters) -POKHARA by bus. (2713 meters)

Descent to Kagbeni, a village located on the Mustang road, a beautiful fortified village of Tibetan culture and architecture. Walk along the Kali Gondaki to Jomoson

Day 13: POKHARA - KATHMANDU

Transfer by bus. Overnight at hotel.
